COMMERCIAL 3 PHASE THERMOSTATS AND SAFETY TEMPERATURE LIMITER

In the catering trade industry, thermostats and safety temperature limiters can be found, amongst other things, in ranges and ovens. Thermostats with their stainless steel sensors and flexible capillary tubes are also suitable for high ambient temperatures. Our single and multi-pole variants have particularly demonstrated their worth in commercial applications due to their excellent reliability.

COMMERCIAL 3 PHASE THERMOSTATS

   • Comprehensive 3-pole series for small and medium unit numbers for special
     applications

   • Can be used up to 700 °C with a turning range from 0 to 318°
   • All types are available without, with partial or with full insulation
   • Length of capillary tube as required by the customer, up to 3000 mm
   • Switching capacity 16 (2.6) A at 250 VAC and a maximum ambient temperature at the
head of 150 °C per deck

COMMERCIAL 3 PHASE SAFETY TEMPERATURE LIMITER

   • 3-pole STL, intrinsically break-proof, with trip-free function, for small and medium unit
     numbers for special applications

A at 400 VAC and a maximum ambient

COMMERCIAL THERMOSTAT CONTROL

The 5300 series standard Uni-Kits are designed to replace many different variations of “EA” family of controls. 5300 series feature SPDT switch action. Should the temperature exceed the controls fixed setting, the normally close (N.C.) contact will open.

COMMERCIAL ELECTRICAL LIMIT CONTROLS

The 5225 Series Automatic Reset or cycling models do have reset button and feature SPDT switch action. Should the temperature exceed the controls fixed setting, the normally close (N.C.) contact will open. Reset button have to be reset to re-activate the circuit system.

COMMERCIAL GAS THERMOSTATS

The 4200 series (Model FD) is a heavy duty, high capacity, commercial gas thermostat. Valve response is either snap throttle (FDO) using dual internal valves giving full to off operation, or throttle (FDTO) using a single internal valve which full on to by pass operation.

GAS OVEN SAFETIES

Gas oven safeties first came into existence with the advent of the automatic ignition as part of the oven burner. The original thermocouple safety system was followed by the mercury safety system. The mercury safety facilitated modern, low temperature “Cook and hold” at serving temperature. The oven safety valve is part of a safety system, and care should be taken to ensure that the integrity of that system is maintained when the oven safety valve is replaced.

ROBERTSHAW – GAS SAFETY VALVES

Robertshaw gas valves have always been the industry standard. The revolutionary 7000 Series Unitrol became the most universal gas control ever used. Models are available for as low as 5,000 and up to 700,000 BTUs.

Combination gas valves often require a non-exact replacement because of the obsolescence of the original control. The selection of a functional replacement should be based on as much of the following as possible:

   • Nine digit Factory Model Number
   • Inlet / Outlet size
   • Capacity – BTU (See rating plate on furnace)
   • Type of gas
   • Pressure Regulator Setting
   • Safety Magnet Type
   • Practicality of replacement with Energy Efficient Retrofit Pilot Ignition
     System

Type Of Gas Valves
   • 700 Series - 24 volt
   • 700 Series - Line voltage
   • 700 Series - Millivolt
  Identification and factory model codes
   • 700 Series - Pilot, Direct, Hot Surface
   • 700 Series - Replacement components
   • Thermocouples And Pilots

ROBERTSHAW PILOT UNI-KIT

Pilot light is a small gas flame, usually natural gas or liquefied petroleum gas, which is kept alight in order to provide an ignition source for a more powerful gas burner.

THERMOCOUPLES & THERMOPILE

   •  The 1970 Uni-Couple’s unique design allows for installation to virtually all pilot burners.
   •  The 1980 Series Snap-Fit Thermocouple offer easy installation into the majority of pilot burners.
   •  The UNIVERSAL THERMOCOUPLE 28.1952, unique design allows for installation to virtually all pilot burners. The versatile zip nut may be pushed, pulled or threaded onto the thermocouple’s rolled threads for proper positioning in every application.
   •  The 1950 and 1951 Thermopiles (pilot generators) are designed for use on self-powered gas control systems.
