Thermocouple Sensors

In electronics, thermocouples are a widely used type of temperature sensor and can also be used as a means to convert thermal potential difference into electric potential difference. With measurement of a wide range of temperatures from –200ºC ~ 1700ºC. Thermocouples are most suitable for measuring over a large temperature range, up to 1800 K. A variety of thermocouples are available, applicable for different industrial like scientific, food temperature, medical research, etc.

Pyrotenax - Mineral Insulated thermocouple cables are metal-sheathed inert magnesium oxide insulated. It is used to fabricate thermocouple probes and high temperature thermocouple extension wire. It can be welded, brazed, bent, coiled or formed. It can withstand vibration under high temperatures and pressures. And due to its unique construction, M.I. cable will continue to work effectively even during a fire. It generally resists corrosion, aging and moisture. M.I. cable is easy to install and provides extremely compact, neat surface wiring, and it’s durable enough for direct burial.

Platinum - Resistance Temperature Detector (RTD)

Platinum RTD are sensors used to measure temperature by correlating the resistance of the element with temperature. Most RTD elements consist of a length of fine-coiled Platinum wire wrapped around a ceramic core. The element is usually quite fragile, so it is often placed inside a sheathed probe to protect it. The material has a predictable change in resistance as the temperature changes; it is this predictable change that is used to determine temperature. With measurment range from –200ºC ~ 850ºC. RTD are most suitable for measuring various applications like Marine and industrial.

Thermocouple Bare Element

Thermocouple bare elements are components which go into the making of complete thermocouple assemblies. Thermocouple (types J,K,E T) wires comes in different gauge sizes.
